Software Engineer

Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced software engineer
This is a 12-month contract based in Zurich
Main responsibilities
Development, operation, and maintenance of applications including lifecycle management (HW/SW)
Provision and execution of the deployment process with Jenkins, Nexus and and Octopus in different environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD)
Further development and maintenance of the deployment process and Version management using Bitbucket, Git.
Definition of job control, EndOfDay- Processing
Performance optimizations (Analysis/Tuning)
Error analysis Linux-side (Java- stacktrace, scripts, OS tools)
Your skills:
Strong experience programming with Java and Python
Knowledge of data corrections via SQL, complex DB queries, data migrations
Experience with performance optimizations (Analysis/Tuning)
Error analysis Linux-side (Java- stacktrace, scripts, OS tools)
Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and English
