My duties
Migration of an application services landscape to AWS
The application consists of ~29 Java and ~14 .Net services. The services are running in AWS on EC2 instances and in our customer's data center on Windows virtualization
The goal of the project is to containerize these services and build appropriate deployment pipelines so that all services are eventually run in AWS
The runtime model would be AWS ECS or Kubernetes
During the migration, the customer wants to update the libraries and optimize the services where possible
The customer is working in an agile, modern and automated development environment
The team works as a scrums team and uses AzureDevOps as a platform
My qualifications
Java >= 1.8 (senior level)
Spring/Spring Boot
AWS / Cloudformation / Terraform
Docker/Container
Apache Camel
Hazelcast
ActiveMQ / Kafka
