Hauptaufgaben:
Als leidenschaftlicher Softwareentwickler unterstützen Sie im globalen Plattform Software Team bei der Entwicklung von innovativen Projekten im Bereich Diagnosesoftware. Die von Ihnen entwickelte Softwarelösung wird auf allen Geldautomaten und Kassensystemen von Diebold Nixdorf eingesetzt.
Sie übernehmen Verantwortung für die Konzeption, Architektur sowie Umsetzung von Softwarelösungen in verschiedenen, abwechslungsreichen Entwicklungsprojekten, z. B. im Bereich „Industrie und Service 4.0“.
Unter Anwendung von agilen Softwareentwicklungsmethoden und Prozessen tragen Sie dazu bei, optimale Lösungen für anspruchsvolle Problemstellungen im globalen Team zu finden.
Sie wirken bei der Pflege und Wartung bestehender Softwarelösungen mit und unterstützen bei der technischen Analyse von Supportanfragen zu den Softwareprodukten.
Qualifikationen:
Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
Darüber hinaus bringen Sie sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung mit.
Insbesondere haben Sie erweiterte Kenntnisse in der Programmiersprache Java SE und in der Entwicklungsumgebung Eclipse.
Sie sind mit der objektorientierten Programmierung vertraut und haben Kenntnisse in OSGi, Swing, JMX, JNI sowie React, TypeScript.
Mit Vorkenntnissen in hardwarenaher Programmierung und Kommunikationsprotokollen sind Sie optimal gerüstet.
Idealerweise haben Sie erste Erfahrungen mit agilen Softwareentwicklungsmethoden unter Einsatz von JIRA / Confluence sowie Erfahrungen mit dem Versionsverwaltungssystem Git.
Durch Ihre sehr guten Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden Sie ihr Profil ab.

Key Responsibilities:
As a passionate software developer, you support the global platform software team in the development of innovative projects in the area of Diagnostics Software. The software solutions you develop are used in all Diebold Nixdorf ATMs and POS systems.
You take responsibility for the design, architecture as well as implementation of software solutions in various, multifaceted development projects, e.g. in the area of "Industry and Service 4.0".
Using agile software development methods and processes, you are working with the global team to find optimal solutions for challenging problems.
You contribute to the maintenance and support of existing software solutions and assist in the technical analysis of support requests for the software products.
Qualifications:
You have a successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a similar qualification.
In addition, you have a very good knowledge of software development.
You have especially advanced knowledge in the Java SE programming language and in the Eclipse development environment.
As well as being familiar with object-oriented programming, you have knowledge of OSGi, Swing, JMX, JNI and also React, TypeScript.
With knowledge in hardware-related programming and communication protocols you are optimally qualified.
Ideally you have first experiences with agile software development methods using JIRA / Confluence as well as experience with the version management system Git.
Your very good German and English skills make your profile more than perfect.
