Then come and join our global team as Senior System Engineer (f/m/d) with focus on Model Based System Engineering to support us in the transition to model-based development.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average of 60% of your working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You act as a change agent in the Healthineers units and drive the method change to a MBSE based approach here
You will use your methodological knowledge to drive the model-based transition in various Siemens Healthineers projects addressing system of systems modeling approach
You will extend the Healthineers-specific modeling environment (Domain Specific Language) step by step with the findings from the academic community (state of the art research), best practices from other industries and based on the requirements from the Healthineers modeling projects
You design concepts to enable an overarching interaction in the "end2end" PLM value stream across all relevant applications (e.g. Cameo/MagicDraw, Polarion, MentorCapitel, Teamcenter). During the implementation of those concepts, you act as Domain Expert for the team
You are responsible for defining and establishing training concepts and maintain them step by step continuously according reflecting the innovations of the Healthineers DSL
You will work across international and x-functional teams on requirements definition, solution design and all subsequent phases of the successful implementation of MBSE into the Healthineers Product Lifecycle

Your qualifications and experience:
You have successfully completed a technical degree or comparable training
You have many years of professional experience in the application of model-based development approaches throughout the entire product life cycle, ideally in medical technology
You have expert knowledge in modeling methods and frameworks (SPES, Arc42, DoDAF, …) and languages (UML, SysML) as well as the relevant tools (especially Cameo/MagicDraw)
You have proven your expert knowledge in the creation of domain specific languages (DSLs) in the past, especially in Cameo/MagicDraw
You have very good knowledge in hands on introduction of model-based processes in organizations and have successfully accompanied and driven this transition
Extensive knowledge in the area of creation and validation of connected multi domain models, as well as their implementations in software and system architectures, complete your profile
Your attributes and skills:

You are able to present complex issues in a simple and clear manner to the target group and communicate fluently in German and English
