Management as well as development of prototypes, using new design patterns and technologies with the goal to estimate their potential and present the results to business stakeholders to assess their business value
Doing research in the area of software/system architectures and software engineering methodologies for highly scalable and resilient software systems (not exclusively, but focus on: smart autonomous cyber-physical systems) using machine learning and robotic technologies
Applying the research results in world-wide consulting, based on coaching, assessment and reviews of architecture and used technologies, and/or directly participate in design of highly innovative products and solutions

Skills are the key!
Technical Master's degree (FH, Uni) in Informatics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical areas
Several years of professional software architecture experience, preferable from one of the following domains: industrial and building automation, power generation and energy management, mobility/transportation & healthcare
Expert knowledge in agile software/systems engineering methods and technologies for large distributed systems, edge computing and cloud systems (AWS, Azure), e.g. UML/SysML modelling, architecture and design patterns, microservices, event streaming/messaging, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps
Know-how and practical experience in artificial intelligence, data analytics, machine learning and ideally also reinforcement learning
Experience in project management as either project manager or team lead
Programming skills: C#, C++, Java, Python, Java Script or similar. At least authority in one language and good working knowledge in another
Interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity in distributed projects as well as consulting and mentoring capabilities
Analytic and critical thinking capabilities as well as the flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic team
Excellent command of English, preferably also some German language skills
