Source Group are currently working with a leading FS Institution who are looking to hire a Freelance Application Developer for a long term project.

This role requires candidates who are based in Switzerland or who are willing to relocate.

We are looking for an experienced Application developer with minimum 5 years’ experience, ideally coming from a Banking / Financial Services background.

Duties:

Design and develop software using commonly used concepts and practicesYou will be responsible for developing solutions to issues found during the various testing phases of the upgrade projectDeliver tested software using automated testing frameworksAssist in migrating existing functionalities as required by the target version.You will perform testing and coordinate with the team or directly with business users to get user sign-off
Skills Needed:

Experience with Open Components / JVSExperience with .NET / Java programming language
Experience with Kafka
Experience with trading management applications
Nice to have:

Experience working with OpenShift, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps / GitHub
Experience working with Connex Gateways, TPM, and APM modules of Findur/Endur
Experience with agile software development practices
Experience with automated testing / TDD
Knowledge with financial messaging systems (SWIFT)
