Then come and join our global team as Head (f/m/d) of IT Connectivity to lead the global connectivity team in a highly complex and matrix-based environment, supporting the world's leading provider of multidisciplinary medical device and diagnostic solutions. This position is based out of Germany and you will lead a strong global team that is represented in all regions (Asia, EMEA, Americas).
Choose the best place for your work - within the scope of this position, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working time in agreement with your manager.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You develop and implement strategies to improve network performance, reliability, and security
You ensure that the solution design meets the defined objectives of our strategic programmes (Zero Trust Network Architecture, SDx)
You manage information systems and technology decisions, including but not limited to hardware, software, infrastructure, personnel, services and support
You will develop, manage and be accountable for the IT connectivity budget
You evaluate and communicate risks associated with IT connectivity investments
You monitor the IT Connectivity programme and project portfolio
You lead a high-performing team of team leaders and experts and are responsible for their professional and personal development
You will lead the transformation strategy and implementation in IT Connectivity, balancing vertical integration of technology with partnerships and outsourcing technology

Your qualifications and experience:
You have a degree in computer science, engineering or comparable. An MBA is preferred
You have many years of professional experience and proven success in leading an IT function, as well as several years of executive leadership experience
You have in-depth experience with scaling IT network connectivity in conjunction with business growth
You have very strong expertise in modern network connectivity and other IT technology concepts (e.g. ZTNA, SDx, etc.), platforms and methodologies to accelerate change, but also to foster a simple and agile environment
You have a strong track of record in creating strategic roadmaps through collaboration with the business units and other IT functions within the organization
Your attributes and skills:
For this central and global role, you speak fluent English. German language skills are an added plus
Negotiation and conflict skills are required. Extensive experience in outsourcing and supplier management is mandatory
You have the ability to work directly with the operational team and identify strategic improvements as a collaborator and partner to drive business growth and results
You have the proven ability to work and navigate effectively in a highly complex matrix environment
You have a strong track record of successfully leading a global team and collaborating at all levels, up to and including the C-suite
You have a strong intercultural understanding and international travel (up to 30%) is a welcome change for you
