We are looking for a Backend Developer (all genders)
As a Backend Developer you will working as part of a cross-functional team and developing custom build solutions spanning e-commerce, B2B, marketing that drive cutting edge Human experience. Your task is to develop high-performance, large-scale distributed systems out of microservices where you can try out new things and apply modern technologies. Besides that, you will use your analytical thinking and technical knowledge to solve client’s complex business problems. Outside of project work, you would like to actively shape and advance the Backend Craft at Accenture and share your know-how with your colleagues. In cross-project code reviews you can exchange ideas on different approaches to solutions, get involved in writing articles about your experience with technology or advance our open-source projects.

Your duties
Development of backend services of web applications and e-commerce platforms
As a communicative link between different areas, you develop web applications and related concepts. You always take technical feasibility into account in your planning
You work with established standards and the latest frameworks to find the most sustainable solutions as a link between design, engineering, users, and customers
What you need
Completed studies in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
First hands on experience in one of the following languages/frameworks Java / Spring Boot / NodeJS
You’ve basic understanding of cloud technologies and CI/CD on cloud provider like AWS, Azure, GCP
Several years of professional experience in working with on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures and know how to use an application most effectivelyFamiliar with architecture patterns like microservices, Backend-for-Frontends, REST-APIs
Comfortability with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and/or Kanban
Expert knowledge in the use of CI/CD / JAVA / SpringBoot / NodeJSBasic understanding of frontend Technologies
A self-reliant and structured way of working, a high degree of customer client orientation, and an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
Good communication and presentation skills in English, fluency in German would be nice to have
