Your Role

The department Digital Interaction builds and runs the international strategic platform for digital marketing and sales in the Allianz Group.
Goal of the department is to implement strategic projects together with the organizational units of the Allianz as well as to create synergies for the Allianz through harmonization of platforms. Digital Interaction offers you a unique career chance to shape the digitalization initiative of the Allianz and to be in contact with international and higher level management. Furthermore you will gain insights in the operational setup of the Allianz organizations and with this more career development possibilities.

You will

Consult and analyze frontend requirements with design engineers and digital marketeers
Build the best frontend components based on global design tokens, Design System implementation, test, build and run with wide browser compatibility; implement according to the latest standards in accessibility and performance
Perform code reviews, audits and pull requests
Build and integrate single page applications and provide integration patterns
Partner with Product Owners to align the roadmap with the technical design and the IT strategy of the Allianz Group
Implement and promote best practices around DevSecOps (Security, Test Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Containerization)
Promote and establish Software Craftsmanship
Design and implement secure web-based applications based on modern software frameworks and open-source standards
Develop and manage effective collaborative relationships with other departments, groups, peers, and customers (business, security, infrastructure)
Drive the digital transformation of the Allianz Group in a community-based approach (meetups, engineering guild)
Collaborate in a solid and deescalating way in taskforce situations

Your skills

Agile mindset, end-to-end responsibility
Academic degree in the areas of computer science, business informatics or similar professional experience
Fluent spoken and written English. Additional languages like German, French and/or Spanish are an advantage
At least 3 years of experience as frontend engineer (e.g. NPM, NodeJS, WebComponents, Angular)
Good experience in the areas of Continuous Integration and Delivery
Experience with the Adobe Experience Cloud would be beneficial (Target, Analytics, Launch)
Knowledge in build tools and source control management, e.g. Maven, NPM, Git, Webpack
Experience in test automation and cross-browser testing
Excellent team player, strong communication skills and problem solving focus
Outstanding analytical skills
Ability to work autonomously and with high engagement
Excellent social skills and cross-cultural experience
Profound HTML, CSS, JS Knowledge
Current market frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) helpful
Responsive design and experience with living styleguides (e.g. Patternlab)
Performance tuning for rendering, caching, time to first rendering and interaction
Good understanding of Visual Design and UXP
