We work in teams of 3-5 people on tech projects with about 2-4 projects per team. Most of our clients hire us for our innovative know-how, that they don’t have in house, not just for simple tasks. This is why we put a lot of emphasis in improving and staying up to date on the job. We do this by reviewing each others code, strict deployment pipelines, writing meaningful tests, monthly mind hacking days with presentations, 2 weeks a year dedicated hacking weeks, internal coding challenges, dedicated education budget, …Our developers usually join as pure frontend or backend devs, but most of them develop into fullstack developers with devops experience. We like to have people with a good overview of topics, but specialized in one specific area or technology.

Warum hast du dich für dieses Team entschieden?
Mich haben vor allem die Projekte überzeugt, die in der Abteilung umgesetzt werden. Ich möchte mich unbedingt mehr im Themenfeld der künstlichen Intelligenz spezialisieren. Diese Chance wird mir im Team geboten. Ich war vorher in einem großen Unternehmen tätig und konnte dort viel über strukturierte Softwareentwicklung lernen. In meiner neuen Aufgabe schätze ich jedoch die kleinen Teams und die Möglichkeit neue Ideen schneller vorantreiben zu können. Ich schätze sowohl die Möglichkeit von zuhause aus arbeiten zu können, als auch die Gelegenheit Fachkonferenzen und Meetups besuchen zu dürfen.

Worum geht´s in deinem Job?
Ich bin verantwortlich für die Konzeption, Entwicklung und Betreuung von Webanwendungen und deren Schnittstellen. Weiters bin ich für die Wartung und Weiterentwicklung von bestehenden Anwendungen und auch für die selbständige Durchführung von agilen Softwareprojekten verantwortlich.
