OVERVIEW
Global Blue´s IT headquarters is located in Vienna. The holder of this open position will be responsible to ensure a working and well maintained test environment. Close cooperation with Engineering and Operations team are key for being successful.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup, monitor and manage test environments in close cooperation with Operations and Engineering teams
Become and stay a technical expert in the setup, configuration and usage of the systems/applications under test
Smooth deployments of new release versions/components in the test environment using the provided deployment framework
Effective troubleshooting and issue fixing in the environment during ongoing tests. Close cooperation with customers (QA Engineers/IT Managers).
Limited support on test data preparation for tests
Continuous improvements (long-term) in your work field and contribution to overall process improvements
Continuous server/application maintenance (eg. certificate updates, db backup processes, .net/java upgrades according to requirements)
REQUIREMENTS
Required qualification and experience
Solid understanding of Windows server datacentre infrastructure
Knowhow of automated deployments
Experience in MS SQL/SSRS/SSIS management and administration
Experience with Rabbit MQ, Biztalk 2013, MS ServiceBus is a plus
Knowledge of Windows .net and/or Java Technology stack
Experience with Firewall/Load balancer configuration
Scripting and/or programming (basic) knowledge
Experience with tools like Jenkins, Stash, GIT
Technical University degree or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience in server setup/maintenance, deployment field or similar
Independent and self-motivated personality with strong problem solving skills
Accurate and responsible working style
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Team player with good collaboration skills
