The role:
We are recruiting an experienced Tech Lead to join our team.
You have the passion to generate and write clean code? In this position, you will be responsible for the development and support of SQL Server/.NET/C# projects and applications with highest quality and commitment through the entire Software Development Lifecycle. This highly responsible role involves offering state of the art technology solutions that will drive forward Global Blue’s Tax Free Shopping product offerings. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an agile environment for the market leader in its industry.
Nature and aim of the position
Development of front and back ends of DBO modular applications using .NET platform, as a team member of DBO UoV reporting to the DevLead.
Holder of the position is expected to be able to work independently and remotely, following the SCRUM framework based on Sprints and be responsible for the technical designs and code quality.
Main duties and responsibilities
Development and testing of application’s features
Take ownership on technical reviews and designs
Define and implement best practices, standards, and procedures, including quality and delivery methodologies and ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life of software products
Work in Agile Team setup of 6-9 members
Lead improvement endeavours keeping the quality requirements
Report activities accurately to comply with demands of a publicly listed company
Reporting and collaboration
The holder of the position reports to DBO UoV DevLead
Key competencies
Mastering of OOP concepts and principles and .NET Core+ programming languages
Experience with web-based front-end development using Single Page Application technologies
Experience within Agile software development framework
Experience on RESTful APIs development
Ability on holding technical discussions and negotiate improvements
Preferable skills and competencies
Experience with Angular, .NET 5+ and MSSQL
Understanding of and experience with SOLID concept
Experience on mentoring less experienced co-workers
Education and qualifications
Technical graduation on IT related
English – level B2
5+ years’ experience in similar role
