Your Tasks

You design robust solutions to hard problems that also take into account scale, security, reliability, and cost.

You contribute new software or modify existing software to meet projects and program goals.

You lead small teams of other developers on focused technical projects when necessary.

You deliver needed project functionality for specific deliverables but deliver in such a way that the value is useful to the organization in the long term.

You communicate with internal and external business partners to qualify technical requirements and communicate those finding back to the development team at large.

You understand the process of software development well enough to mentor and guide others when necessary.

You re-use existing software development practices where possible for productivity, but also introduce new trending industry practices and tools where appropriate.

Our Requirements

Strong understanding of web fundamentals like JavaScript, HTML and experience with Angular

Expertise with software development languages like Java and Python

Experience in components at each layer of modern web applications

Experience in both front-end and back-end aspects

Strong Agile Development Skills and hands-on experience.

Understanding of high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, distributed systems

Experience writing performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable code

Hands on experience with cloud native applications (Docker) and DevOps tooling (Jenkins)

Working expertise with data base technologies

Our performance-based-salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary according to the collective agreement of Telekom Austria AG is EUR 44.464,00. The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
