As a Senior Software Engineer you are responsible for designing and developing imcs platform
architecture covering both the software and infrastructure aspects of the platform. The role is
expected to work closely with the Tech leadership and product teams to define short- and long-term
improvements to address the growth of our customer experience.

Your Responsibilities:

Partner with Software Architects, Tech Leader, and Product Managers to analyze and transform business requirements into software requirement specifications
Design and develop RESTful APIs for our platform with a focus on scalability, security, availability, and latency requirements
Passionate about distributed systems and building cloud native applications
Enjoy new technological challenges and excels at solving them
Collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams, following DevOps/GitOps principles
Share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team to envolve and grow

Your Profile:

Professional experience (5+) in agile software development with common languages and frameworks (e.g. Java J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ReactJS+/ExtJS/AngularJS)
Experience with Containers and Kubernetes or similar technologies (e.g. Docker)
Experience in designing and implementing large scale cloud services and RESTful APIs in distributed system architecture (RESTful API, Web API, RDBMS, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Solr, Redis, Kafka, Rabbit/Active/Artemis MQ, Metrics)
Advocate of Clean Code and the DevOps culture (e.g. one of, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Gulp, Ansible, Salt, Terraform, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Beats, Helm)
Experience with Process Automation (BPMN / Workflow Engines) is a plus
Experience with cloud-native development technologies and practices is a plus (IaC, GitOps, DevOps, Cloud Computing)
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is a plus
Experience with API Management and API Platforms is a plus
Effective collaborator, experienced in creating technical partnerships across teams
Fluency in English is mandatory, Fluency in German would be a big advantage
Bring a positive and solution-oriented mindset
Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
Great communicator that can easily explain ideas and engage people while translating business requirements into technical solutions
