Backend Developer
What to expect:
Application and architecture specification, implementation, and documentation
Carrying out code reviews
Improvements to the employed cloud infrastructure and the CI/CD tool chain
Creation and involvement in the development of concepts and specifications for IT operation, scaling, and security
Taking part in the assessment and documentation of novel software development techniques and technologies
Personal Requirements:
Business, technical, or general computer science courses, or engineering courses with an emphasis on IT
It would be ideal to have professional expertise in IT, especially in the field of software product conceptualization and DevOps development with regard to IT security, scaling, and operation, as well as code reviews and software testing.
Comprehensive expertise in widely used front- and back-end technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, UI frameworks, Java, Spring, JSON, REST, databases, build tools, (unit) test frameworks, etc., as well as continuous integration and delivery technologies.
Expertise with popular software development tools and cloud services (like MS Azure) (e.g. Jira, Jenkins, Git, Eclipse, IntelliJ)
Excellent written and spoken English
Proven ability to effectively communicate, make decisions, and accept accountability
A structured, independent, and dedicated work style as well as the capacity for teamwork
