VP of Engineering (m/f/x)One of the fastest growing software companies in Vienna, Austria, is looking for a VP of Engineering to lead several engineering teams developing innovative SaaS solutions. We are seeking someone with a passion for people management and strong leadership skills, combined with a deep technical background in software development, in a fast-paced, SaaS environment, with experience shipping cloud products. In this role, you will be a hands-on technical leader and motivate your teams to develop and grow the company's goal in delivering sustainable software solutions for the manufacturing industry. VP of Engineering (m/f/x)Your role Provide leadership for several agile software engineering teams developing new innovative SaaS products for the manufacturing industry Be part of the senior leadership team and make important decisions in collaboration with C-Level Management and work closely with Head of Product Management Effectively drive an agile software development process across several software engineering teams, defining and estimating requirements, product build and delivery, and launching products Advance the design and architecture of the products utilizing the newest SaaS technologies and tools, in order to design and develop a successful product line Encourage a team culture that values the constant strive for quality and innovation, staying up to date on the latest technologies and deciding how these can best be used to serve business needs Growing the team and being involved in the recruitment process, managing teams that are primarily based in Vienna Your Experience A minimum of 3 years' experience managing Software development teams, with previous experience in software engineering Deep understanding and hands-on experience of software development in a product-driven software company, good DevOps knowledge Background in Java/Kotlin-Techstack is preferred Very good knowledge of microservices, cloud technologies, multi-tenant architectures, development processes and tools A successful history of achieving milestones, building credibility with senior management and building and motivating teams The ability to lead agile software development teams, staying within budget and ensuring timely delivery of solutions and products, in a team-oriented manner that encourages respect Experience in fast-paced start-up or scale-up companies preferred Your Benefits A competitive yearly salary up to EUR120.000, based on experience and qualifications Working with the an exciting late-stage start-up tech company and being at the forefront of the development of their products Great career path options within the company Very flexible working, including Home Office and no core hours Beautiful office in Vienna Excellent employee benefits such paid public transportation, lunches, coffee and snacks, regular tech meet-ups and conferences, and more… Does this sound interesting for you?
