The role involves offering state of the art technology solutions that will drive forward Global Blue's Tax Free Shopping, particularly in the Customs and Validation domain. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an agile environment for the market leader in its industry. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, support and deploy .NET/C# applications that communicate with a wide variety of systems such as message brokers, RESTful APIs and third party systems. Research and evaluate software related technologies and products. Write clean code, implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies and ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products. Work in an agile Team setup Collaborate with architects, development leads and product managers and other teams to determine appropriate functionalities and implementation. Take an active role in improvement endeavours CompetenciesStrong Web API and microservices development experience Excellent C# programming language skills Excellent understanding of OOP concepts and principles Strong understanding of Software Design Patterns and Enterprise Design Patterns Developing clean code and attention to software quality Experience with Relational databases and Structured Query Language Solid command of debugging tools, frameworks and methodologies Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (ideally SCRUM) Experience with continuous integration/deployment; TDD, automated unit/functional/integration/load/performance testing Designing and developing performant asynchronous solutions SkillsC# using the latest .NET Framework /.NET Core / .NET 6 Message broker architecture / RabbitMQ experience is a plus MS SQL Server, Entity Framework REST API design and development Unit testing frameworks Independent and self-motivated personality Excellent team player Excellent problem solving skills Excellent command of English in spoken and written form Enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment Qualifications and education requirementsUniversity graduate/technical education or equivalent experience Technical certification is a plus Minimum 5 years of experience in professional software development work environment Hands-on experience within Agile software development methodologies in a multi-division processing company (international experience a strong plus) In-depth experience designing API's, software design patterns, asynchronous communication and implementing services based on it.
