Contribute to an evolving architecture of our platform and its integration with partners and banks
Apply test automation, CI/CD and state-of-the-art engineering methodologies that encourage a clean, high-quality codebase
Work with a cross-functional team and participate in all stages of development, creating direct impact on our product
Be a mentor to the team when it comes to clean coding principles, code quality assurance, and code reviews
Take initiative for availabilty, scalability, monitoring and disaster recovery measures in production
Closely collaborate with the team for architecture decisions, application security considerations, and assessment of technologies
Specify user interaction designs for user journeys and new features, utilizing mockups/wireframes
Shape our corporate design and develop common guidelines
Work closely together with frontend developers to create and constantly improve the UI of our web and mobile apps
Conduct user research and usability testing combined with UI prototyping
Graphic design in various areas (website, newsletters, UI components)
Support in marketing activities and creation of visuals

Qualifikationen
Solid know-how using CI tools and applying DevOps methods
Basic knowledge to participate in frontend web development (Single-Page Applications)
You mastered Spring Boot-based apps before, leveraging JPA/Hibernate, Maven, OAuth, containers, 12-factor app principles
Motivation to apply your excellent analytical skills to requirements analysis and specification
Advanced knowledge in setting up CI/CD pipelines and operating containerized applications (Docker)
Profound scripting and administration skills of Linux systems and databases
Solid coding skills using high-level, backend related programming languages
You already managed production systems using GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Argo CD, kustomize)
Outstanding graphical skills with an eye for detail
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Basic proficiency in German
Proven track record in UX design and UX writing for websites and mobile apps
You worked with a cross-functional software development team before
Interest to engage in digital (social media) marketing and copywriting
Excellent German skills (native proficiency)
Knowledge of basic frontend programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Erfahrung
Demonstrated experience (several years) in a similar software engineering role
Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS, containerization, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud)
You're an advocate for current DevOps principles - experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps approaches is a big plus!
Experience using cloud infrastructure (of a major cloud service provider)
First experience or curiosity for operating Kubernetes clusters
Experience in developing Spring-based, cloud-native applications running on AWS/Kubernetes
Experience using Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools
Solid knowledge or experience in UX and web design
Experience crafting interactive experiences and animations
