We have an opportunity open to work with a market leading Ecommerce, omnichannel store solution, helping global brands streamline their online buying experience.

They’ve helped brands such as, Decathlon, Burton Snowboards, Goorin Bros, GANNI, Outdoor Voices, and UNTUCKit. With vast backing financially, this growing company is looking to expand its data engineering team by looking to add a senior data engineer to their team. Offering to work remote from within Europe or in the office in Berlin.

What we’re looking for:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience using Java or Scala
Experience working with event streaming technologies in production environments
Experience working with a DevOps culture and modern agile practices
Fluent in English, written and spoken
You are located in the CET time zone

What you’ll be doing:
Help develop and architect and manage sustainable data processing systems
Able to balance technological development and business intelligence
Help develop complex and efficient pipelines to transform raw data sources into powerful, reliable components of their data lake
