We're working with an incredible FinTech company in Berlin (Remote Possible) who are just started to build out their Data team capabilities & are looking to become Berlin's next unicorn (with over 120 hires in the last 13 months) and they have no plans of stopping!

They've just finished hiring a round of Data Analysts (team of 4) which you'll be slotting into & reporting directly into the Head of BI & Data you'll be the first dedicated Data Engineer on the team, therefore, your tasks will mostly consist of:

– Owning the entire Data Processing pipelines & architecture
– Extremely high data quality & integrity
– Extend & Enrich the Data Platform to enable a super broad set of data applications
– Conceptualize, built & execute a project from end-to-end
– Build exceptionally scalable data solutions to work across the whole company

Their original focus is creating a DWH/Data Lake on Snowflake with S3 from AWS, so having extensive experience with AWS would be great. they've also decided & defined Airflow for the pipelines, Kafka for messages, Python (or Golang) & a blended mix of RDBM's (PostGres), Terraform/Ansible for IAAC, Restful API's for Backend integration & some experience with monitoring & logging.
