We're working with an amazing company (based in Berlin but they are fully remote anywhere on CEST +-2 hours) who are looking to break the barrier between data access, availability & actually then making sense of it to empower any developer (even without any form on NLP experience) to efficiently access & understand ANY type of data. their open source project is already being used globally with their main goal is to become the semantic layer in EVERY enterprise tech stack.

Your focus here is going to be on optimizing the BackEnd (API's, microservices & Databases) with a focus on their core SAAS platform to really design & architect this – you'll be working with frontend, backend, Devops & Data Engineers in this team (you'll be the most senior under the TL) – focusing on scalability, distributed systems & user-friendly API's as the strategy.

Your Responsibilities:
– Design & Build the backend infrastructure comprising SUPER high end GPU clusters
– Evaluate & implement the newest ML libraries like ONNXRuntime or TensorRT
– Scale neural search for large scale production workloads
– Design, Build & operate Rest API's to enable third party developers to implement neural search in their applications

Your Profile:
– Very experience (5+ years) working on the backend of AI products
– Strong software Engineering skillset
– Ability to performance optimize Microservices, API's & Databases
– Strong Python skills with Git, AWS, Container Orchestration & deployment

This company is still in start-up phase with a great office full of experts that use the LATEST machine learning tech (there is no legacy system here) and since your building a product, ultimately, for people exactly like you – you know their pain points & understand the problem.
