Senior Full Stack Developer - Rally Software

Are you a seasoned software software developer looking for an opportunity to be an integral part of a team that designs and delivers agile work management software that enables customers to move to a whole level of transparency, trust, data-based decisions, and rapid response to customer demands?

At Broadcom’s ValueOps division in Vienna, Austria, we’re building Rally, the class-leading agile management software recognized 5 years running in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Agile Planning Tools.

We think that radically transforming the way software is built and delivered is pretty exciting, and we’re looking for a software development manager who wants to join the fun.

What we’re looking for (your qualifications)

The main things we’re searching for are demonstrated talent and passion for collaboration and delivering quality software. Experience in some of the following areas will likely make you a great contributor to our team.

Demonstrated proficiency with front-end web application development using JavaScript, specifically React

Solid experience with test automation frameworks (like React Testing Library)

Proven ability to collaborate both in-person and remotely (for example, pair programming, best practice guilds, mentoring, familiarity with online collaboration tools)

Exposure and experience with development in Java

Some interaction and experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Your typical week

Collaborating with a multi-functional team to define work that will meet organizational objectives and deliver value to customers

Submitting and reviewing pull requests in GitHub

Implementing software solutions to customer problems

Contributing to team and organizational best practices

Driving test automation improvement

Improving our deployment pipeline

Experimenting with new technologies that improve our software
