Java Backend Developer (m/f/d) - Home office possible

You will be part of our effort to create the next generation of information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio.

Your new role:

Java Backend Developer responsible for design and implementation of backend components and APIs
Development of automated unit and integration tests to ensure scalability, reliability, and correctness of developed public APIs
Integrate new backend components and microservices into cloud-native solution platform based on Kubernetes
Tightly collaborate and exchange your ideas with solution architects and other development leaders
Over time you became a technical expert in the healthcare / hospital imaging domain and related standards (FHIR, DICOM, etc.)
Work in interesting and challenging medical domain

Your skills:

A university degree in computer science (or related degree) and/or equivalent work experience
Profound knowledge of backend frameworks and middleware’s of the Java ecosystem like Spring or Quarkus
Experience with persistence layer technologies like JPA / Hibernate
Understanding of the concepts and design patterns of cloud-native architectures
Experience with Docker and (preferably) Kubernetes
You love working in teams and you have a passion for software
You bring a hands-on attitude and are interested in learning about new technologies
Good analytical skills and team player qualities
Independent and target-oriented way of working
Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
At least passive usage of German language
