What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a number of experienced Java developers to join our growing development team. The ideal candidates will have experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications, as well as experience with Spring, Hibernate and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for working with the development team to design and implement new features, fix bugs, and maintain existing code.

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring, Angular and Hibernate frameworks
Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and improvements
Troubleshoot and debug existing code
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Tertiary Diploma in IT in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience as a Java developer
Strong experience with Spring, Hibernate and SQL
Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
