Peracto’s client, a dynamic powerhouse vendor, is seeking a German speaking Java Technical Consultant to join their exciting and experienced team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a particularly interactive role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex technical systems and solutions in tandem with the businesses in-house team and their clients business and technical representatives. Developing and implementing best-practice approaches and solutions for system architecture design, software installation and interfacing standards and guidelines will also be a key part of the role.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience working within a technology firm providing complex technical solutions.
Working knowledge of the entire Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Design, deployment and supporting experience of complex system infrastructures.
Ability to translate requirements of a client into a solution design.
Able and willing to travel and work around Europe.
Experience with n-tier technical solutions.
Technical Skills
o Proven experience of Java, including Spring
o Experience of working with application servers (Weblogic, JBoss)
o XML and XSL Transformation
o Javascript and VBA
The Ideal Candidate:
Superb oral and written communication skills.
Experience in the trading technologies industry would be advantageous but not essential.
An enthusiastic, self-motivated employee.
Must have the capability to work well alone and as part of a team.
