Job Description
DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION
In this exciting role you’ll bring in your DevOps expertise in designing, implementing and operating new applications and services within our digital media platform. You’ll have special attention on automation, maintenance, operation, security and reliability. Bringing in your technical background you’ll support others in applying DevOps principles on migrating existing on-prem application and services as well as building new ones within the public cloud.
TEAM & CULTURE
You’ll become a strong member within a self-organizing team living agile methodologies organized following the Spotify model. We apply CAMS, automating if possible, measuring results, sharing feedback and respecting each other.
DISCOVER & INNOVATE
To ensure future growth you’ll visit leading conferences in the area of DevOps engineering to stay up to date with emergent technology trends and opportunities. This will help you to identify new solutions and patterns, which could bring business value and improve our platform. You’ll create proof of concepts showing their potential and applicability within the team pushing boundaries to the next level.
QUALITY & AUTOMATION
Quality and security aspects are in your focus when it comes to building new solutions for our digital media platform. You’re aiming for continuous delivery, trying to automate workflows wherever possible to improve efficiency and to ensure operability in case of an incident.
Qualifications
Practical experience in applying DevOps principles
Interest in modern monitoring and alerting technologies (like Grafana, Kibana, Datadog or similar)
Experience in software engineering (using a common programming language) as well as application of modern software engineering paradigms (pull requests, code reviews, pair programming, and so on)
Interest in using cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud (GCP)
Communicative team player with an analytical mind-set
Be able to drive topics and eager to learn new technologies

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,208 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
