Backend Developer

Job ID # – 269

Working for a well-established and highly rated company based in the beautiful city of Berlin, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in Geospatial Data and working with scalable data to join a company looking at changing the field of transportation forever.

This position has huge scope for progression, with the successful applicant coming from a strong data background with past Backend Developer experience. You will be developing and extending restful API’s, working with Geodata and algorithms mand extending and maintaining the backend infrastructure.

The Successful Candidate:
Strong technical ability in Ruby on Rails/PHP/python/Java
Experience within Terraform and Ansible
Ideally experience with microservices and cloud-based systems
Experience within Geospatial or Transportation data
Previous experience in processing clean data from smartphones
Ideally some frontend skills for collaboration purposes.
