About PAYUCA
At PAYUCA, we have made it our mission to eliminate the hassle of searching for parking spaces and to free the streets from parked cars. As our company grows, we're looking for an experienced software/hardware tester (full-time or part-time) to help our scaling efforts and build a solid base for the future. Apart from being exceptional with the basics and having an eye for the details, you will be expected to design and oversee the whole QA process chain and optimize it to ensure overall product quality.
Your Responsibilities:

Assuring QA processes are well-defined, documented, and followed
Working closely with developers to create test cases, design test plans, and automate test cases for the verification of product functionality
Working closely with developers, product managers & scrum team to review product requirements and design
Managing and tracking bugs and enhancements (via JIRA and other applicable tools)
Developing and maintaining an automation testing strategy for a variety of our products
Generating API-level automated test scripts using various technologies and tools
Reporting bugs and errors to the development team and other stakeholders
Reviewing and extending acceptance criteria
Performing ad hoc and exploratory tests
Measuring and reporting test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions
Mentoring younger peers

Your Profile:

B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years experience as a software (automation) tester with web and mobile platforms
Close attention to detail and user-centric thinking
Good problem-solving, solid analytical and communication skills
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing desired
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Proficiency in performance and load testing and QA reporting
Experience in testing hardware-based systems is advantageous
Proficient working knowledge of Java and/or Python
Team player
Self-starter owner attitude with enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
