We are looking for a Global Digital Marketing Specialist, reporting into the Head of Digital Marketing within the Energy Industries Division, to transform, track, and optimize our web platforms in pursuit of best-in-class buying experience for our customers. You will be accountable globally for our web presence with goals of driving brand awareness and demand generation, for our automation and electrical solutions, services and products catering to industries such as Power Generation, Water, Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Refining, New Energies and more. You will work in diverse and multi-lingual markets with large geographic coverage, with cross business teams and communication functions, collaborating and aligning with Process Automation Business Area and ABB Group communications strategy and digital focus.

Global Marketing Communications Manager
Your responsibilities
Translate the business goals of the division into concrete, creative and actionable digital marketing plans for web, and programmatically execute them with the business area publishing team
Serve as SME in the area, and work with division stakeholders to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies to transform the divisions web presence optimizing user experience, driving traffic, generating demand and delivering best in class CX
Regularly conduct research, competitive analysis, identify trends, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Own cadence of measuring and reporting performance and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points, to instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
Collaborate with colleagues accountable for social media, marketing automation campaigns and lead generation and qualification to validate web strategy factors in omni channel principles & are always customer centric
Leverage business area operations team, agencies and other vendor partners to deliver projects
Your background
8+ years proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B
Knowledge of content management system & website analytics tools (e.g., Sitefinity, Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, display advertising campaigns, optimizing landing pages and user funnels with A/B and multivariate experiments
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking & highly organized and detail oriented.
Degree in marketing or a related field
Excellent communication (fluency in English), presentation, and interpersonal skills
