Senior IT Architect – €Multi Billion Fintech (100% Remote – DE)
We are currently recruiting for a Trading company in Munich who are looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect. Over the last few years, the company has been developing a market leading Sales and Procurement platform for the energy sector which has been used to trade over €4 Billion in 2022!
They are currently working with the latest tech such as Java, Spring boot, Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, EKS, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation, CloudFront), Angular (for Micro Frontends) and other related technologies. This product has been built independently from the CORE IT of the business and now need an IT Architect to modernise bought their Core IT and create an innovation roadmap for their successful product.
In this role you will be working on a Server-less architecture, in a cloud native environment developing a highly scalable and highly available platform. The current team consists of Senior Engineers and Architects who follow an Agile methodology and are given the freedom & time to explore new technologies to create the best solution for the company. They looking for someone who will mentor and guide their entire Technology Division.
Requirement:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar area.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Architect
Multiple years of experience with cloud architecture and infrastructure.
Very strong experience with AWS, good knowledge of all different AWS services
Strong experience with containerization and orchestrations software (Docker & Kubernetes)
Ideally experience building software using Java & JavaScript technologies and Frameworks (Spring Boot & Angular).
Experience designing scalable microservices and micro frontends
You have knowledge of automated software quality assurance and agile development in a continuous delivery environment.
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
Passion for high quality and well tested code/system
Great motivation and willingness to take over responsibility
Fluent in both English & German and excellent communication skills.
