What you need to know:

We are looking for an experienced Quant, who will work on two of the most central areas to our platform for automated investing: on the one hand you will work on our trading engine that powers algorithms used by thousands of bots, building automated trading services as well as performance analysis tools for our users. On the other hand you will be working with our quantitative research team to create, analyse and improve automated trading strategies based on the most topical research and our own analyses.

What you will be responsible for:

As a Senior Quantitative Engineer you will be working closely with our C++ and Backend Engineers to develop, test and improve the core of as well as new feature additions to our trading engine that are used by our users via our proprietary Python API
Take product ownership of the components that comprise the core of the trading engine and integrate new creative ideas in the areas of portfolio analysis, portfolio optimization and other tools to help our users to build trading strategies based on best practices
Work closely together with our product team to improve and generate automated reporting such as tear-sheets based on best-practices from asset management
Work closely with our quantitative research team, implement trading strategies based on your experience that help our users getting started to build their own trading bots
Work together with our machine learning team to create and improve evaluation criteria of the predictive success of our models
Be proactive in finding ways to improve the software components and libraries our users can use to improve their trading success

What you bring to the table:

Significant experience as a quantitative engineer, quantitative analyst, quantitative researcher or similar (e.g. working in asset management, trading)
Deep technical skills in Python and ideally C++ that enable you to bring your ideas from paper to life
Experience in the creation of automated trading strategies that go beyond technical analysis, ideally utilizing machine learning
Have a sound mathematical understanding enabling you to build statistical models that give our users better insights into markets
The capability to understand and implement ideas into our trading engine based on recent research from academia, e.g. in portfolio optimization, etc.
You've worked with Git before to manage your code and feel comfortable using it
Very good written and spoken English language skills
You don’t mind having a beverage or two with us on Friday afternoons after work is done
