We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist (m/f/x) with a focus on Python and Machine Learning. Our company works in the area of digital publishing and helps customers from multiple industries to successfully shape their digital transformation in a sustainable way. Currently, we are conducting a research project in the field of Reinforcement Learning.

Your responsibilities include

Develop models and algorithms in connection with our research project STRG Agents
Extend STRG’s machine learning libraries for usage in research and customers projects
Implement proofs-of-concept in Python or TypeScript
Help our frontend team in creating sophisticated data visualisations
Work with agile SCRUM teams (data scientists and experts)

REQUIREMENTS

Formal education in informatics, mathematics, or computer science
Well-versed in Python and various machine learning libraries such as sklearn, pandas, matplotlib, etc.
Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning
Familiarity with software engineering best practises
Familiarity with version control and devops practises
Desirable: familiarity with TypeScript or other statically typed programming languages
Our company language is English – so this is mandatory
