Job Description Summary Als Software Engineer sind sie Teil eines globalen Teams bei GE HealthCare Austria. Zusammen mit ihren KollegInnen sind sie im Bereich Software Entwicklung für die Voluson Ultraschallgeräte tätig und arbeiten eng mit anderen Abteilungen wie z.B. Hardware Entwicklung und klinischem Produktmanagement zusammen.

As software engineer you are a member of a global team at GE HealthCare Austria. You are part of the software engineering team for Voluson Ultrasound systems and you work in close cooperation with e.g. the hardware engineering team and the clinical product management.

Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Übersicht

Entwicklung, Implementierung, Dokumentation und Verifikation von Software Modulen für diagnostische Ultraschallsysteme
Realisierung innovativer Ideen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen SystementwicklerInnen und projektbezogene Kooperation mit externen F & E Partnern.
Weiterentwicklung einer Software für Ultraschall Systeme basierend auf Microsoft Visual Studio

Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung und Erprobung von Algorithmen für oben genannte Systeme

Profil

eine technische Ausbildung (Universität, FH, HTL) im Bereich SW Engineering, Medizintechnik, Informatik, Mathematik oder Telematik.
Programmierkenntnisse und Erfahrung in C/C++ unter Verwendung von Microsoft Visual Studio.
Kenntnisse in folgenden Bereichen sind von Vorteil:

Programmierkenntnisse in C#, .net, MFC, WPF, Javascript
GPU Programmierung in Direct3D, CUDA oder OpenCL
Erfahrung in der Parallelisierung von Algorithmen (Multicore, SSE/AVX, GPU)
Erfahrung in Signal- und Bildverarbeitung

Selbstständigkeit und analytisches Denken
die Fähigkeit, dich in übergreifenden Teams gut zurechtzufinden und herausfordernde Aufgaben zielorientiert zu lösen.
Einsatzbereitschaft und Freude an der Arbeit in einem weltweit agierenden Konzern.
Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Medizinprodukten ist hilfreich
sehr gute Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab.

Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview

Development, implementation, documentation and verification of software modules for diagnostic ultrasound systems.
Realize innovative ideas together with local system engineers and with external R&D partners based on project oriented cooperation

Enhance and refine interfaces for ultrasound hardware based on Microsoft Visual Studio
Participate in developing and evaluating new algorithms for these systems

Profile

Technical education (University, University of applied science, Higher Technical Institute) in computer science, software or medical engineering, mathematics or telematics.
Knowledge and experience in C/C++ based on Microsoft Visual Studio
Knowledge in following areas is appreciated:

Programming experience in C#, .net, MFC, WPF, Javascript
GPU Programming in Direct3D, CUDA or OpenCL
Parallelization of algorithms (Multicore, SSE/AVX, GPU)
Signal and image processing

reliability and an ability to work independently
Your strength is to work focused on challenging tasks
Motivation and dedicated commitment in a globally acting company
Knowledge in development of medical products is appreciated
Very good English language skills, knowledge in development of medical products is appreciated
