Group Innovation & Business Development Manager

As Group Innovation and Business Development Manager, you would be a key person to drive innovation and business development from commercial perspective at Vetropack group. Working closely with multi-disciplinary team, your focus would be to lead innovation to the market. By development of new business models, you would launch products using Echovai (better refillable) glass and ensure all future innovations satisfy a market or customer need. In cooperation with senior management and the Chief Commercial officer, you would play a key role in developing a commercial innovation culture and implement the go to market strategies.

Key responsibilities

Developing new business models and commercial approach for innovative products of Vetropack group, in specific Echovai tempered glass

Working closely with Research & Development and developing technology road map for innovation

Create processes to connect the different organizational units and gather them around the topic of innovation

Working in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders to scope potential new areas of growth.

Developing long-term innovation strategies to determine necessary changes and review the company's progress.

Developing joint ventures and alliances with partners

Lead the development of and presenting business cases with internal partners (Finance, Marketing, Technical etc.) for new products, new services from Vetropack.

The Successful Candidate

Great project management skills.

Self-starter

Great communication and people skills

Advanced sales skills

Successful in Stakeholder management

Experience with writing business cases including assessing financial aspects

Results oriented, hands-on, focused on problem-solving, resourceful.

Able to work in remote teams, in a matrix organization, working closely with production sites building a strong network, supporting development and coaching.

Requirements

Honours degree in commercial area or similar

3+ years of experience working in commercial innovation, being a leader or a team member with successful projects of bringing innovations to market.

English level C1 minimum in spoken and written language

German level C2 in spoken and written language

Travel requirement up to 40%
