The research group Visualization and Data Analysis is looking for a system admin and software developer from April 1st, 2023 on. The position is currently limited to 1 year with the possibility of subsequent unlimited employment.

Duration of employment: 1 year/s

Extent of Employment: 20 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §54 VwGr. IIIb with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description:

The tasks within the research group include the following:

- purchasing of hard- and software – installation and maintenance of hard- and software, especially of workstations, printer, etc.

first level support
maintenance of the web presence
(visualization) tool development and testing.

In addition, you will need to fulfill tasks according to the needs of the faculty of computing science concerning the IT infrastructure.

Profile:

- Bachelor degree
- very good knowledge of English - speaking and writing
knowledge of GPU programminggood knowledge in programming with Matlab, R, C/C++, Java, Pythongood knowledge in web programming and scriptingexpertice in MacOSX / Linux administrationability to goal-oriented, independent work

experience in teamwork, especially with research groups
