at the Research Group Knowledge Engineering

The Research Group Knowledge Engineering at the Faculty of Informatics invites applications for the position of a university assistant in training. It offers the possibility to graduate from a doctoral programme in the field of "Digitalization in Business Informatics". The research questions, that will lead to the topic of the doctoral thesis, are based on the fact, that real and virtual world in organizations and enterprises will converge in the future. This symbiosis of real and virtual world caused by digitalization is one of our research topics. Based on the approach of design science research intelligent systems are requested to support this transformation-/disruption process.
The employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and will be automatically extended for a total of 3 years, unless the employer issues a non-extension declaration after a maximum of 12 months.
Duration of employment: 3 year/s
Extent of Employment: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Profile:
Master/Diploma Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics with distinction. Good Knowledge of Business Process Management, Ontologies, RDF; good knowledge of conceptual Modelling, esp. Metamodelling, Experience in Teaching; knowledge of ADOxx, C++ and/or Java.
