Job Description Summary In your role as a Full Stack Software Architect you are responsible for the technical development of an advanced medical reporting, image management and data management solution – ViewPoint – a world first class GE HealthCaremedical product for Ultrasound IT. Up to now ViewPoint is only available in a 2-tier scenario. In the near future our product shall be accessible as a web application with the high quality GE is famous for.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a part of an agile team, you are responsible for technical design, development and testing of our medical solution.
You actively participate in all stages of the agile development cycle, cooperate with product designers, developers, testers and project managers.
You drive product quality by applying modern software engineering practices, implementing unit tests, static/dynamical code analysis, ensuring pragmatic, clean and sustainable implementations.
The whole Engineering team relies on your technical skills as a coach and consultant. You are accountable for our web technology stack and the training and onboarding of ~20 contributing developers and QA specialists
Continuous improvement of product/technical design processes is also part of your daily actions

Qualifications/Requirements:

Professional software development experience
Strong agile mindset and successful practical experience in modern dev practices/methods (like behavior driven development, test driven development, pair programming, code reviews, unit testing)
Proven experience in web application development based on Angular (modern HTML5 including styles [flex-box and grid layout, CSS variables, responsive design, …])
English language skills (fluent)

Desired additional Characteristics:

Familiarity with C++ (Qt) and Node.js to be full stack capable with our backend
Familiarity with current web authentication technology (like JWT)
Familiarity with HTML5 concepts like video, img and svg tag
Experience with handling DICOM images and clips and corresponding measuring tools
Experience with generating (simple) graphs
Experience with HTML/browser based ‘pop-up’ dialogs
Experience with test frameworks (i.e. Cucumber, Cypress, Jasmin, Postman, …)
Goal -orientation and pragmatic thinking
Strong communication skills
Ability to deliver results in an uncertain world
German language skills for improved coffee talks
