As an IT Systems Engineer, you will manage and deliver solutions that generates a wide variety of documentation output formats to the organization. Apply now to become part of our team in Klagenfurt!
In your new role you will:

Be the application owner for solutions in the Technical Documentation area by transforming business requirements into IT solutions and integrating them into the existing landscape
Manage the application lifecycle of the solution to ensure stability and good performance including application monitoring and improvement activities
Take responsibility for the IT solution support process, including the assurance of certain service levels and the coordination of external support partners
Support a continuous critical evaluation of used technology stacks, through constant research and application of qualified technical

system-, infrastructure- and IT technology knowledge
Collaborate with key business community to ensure a future proof IT and Business roadmap by leading projects with an end-to-end view with a strong focus on operations and support
During an individual training phase we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development , we want to ensure your success in this position. The tasks can partly be done in homeoffice .
In order to establish a successful relationship with your internal customers, you listen actively and consider their points of view, thoughts and ideas. You are a pro-active person, who has a “hands-on” mentality in driving solutions. As a team player, you collaborate beyond borders and appreciate the contribution of others.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A degree in Information Technology , Computer Science , Business Informatics or in a related field
3-5 years experience in IT application management whereof experience with technical documentation methodologies would advantageous: e.g. Component Content Management System (CCMS), DITA Open-Toolkit, open XML-based standards, content transformation (HTML, PDF etc.)
A strong technical knowledge base in client-server applications realized based on JAVA Web-Technologies and experience with databases, in detail architecture, conception, performance monitoring and optimization (MS-SQL)
Knowledge of Service-Level based IT support processes, if possible with experience and understanding of professional support ticketing systems (e.g. Remedy)
Fundamental knowledge in leading projects that uses Agile and Scrum methodologies
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills to consult key stakeholders and deliver solution in a multiple application landscape
Fluent English language skills, basic German language skills is a plus
This position is subject to the EEI Workers' and Employees' Collective Agreement, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). The agreed monthly salary is paid 14 x p.a.. Willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and suitability. Infineon also offers additional attractive social benefits.
