Client Details
Our client is a well-established financial company based in Luxembourg. They are looking for a Back-end Developer to join their Connectivity Development team to create and update Back-end solutions and interface them with the Web GUI through REST APIs.

Description
The Back-end Developer will work closely with the Connectivity Development team to analyze and review requirements, design, code, write unit tests, and document different parts of the software. They will also be responsible for building automation and related tools, integrating new Web GUI with the existing framework, and supporting all end-to-end testing activities.

Profiles

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT
Previous relevant experience in a similar role, not necessarily in the financial industry
Strong programming skills and practical experience in Java SE 8 or higher, Java EE 6 and 7, REST web services, Linux, Maven, Git/Github, and Oracle SQL
Experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GPC…), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift/ArgoCD/OpenShift Service Mesh/Google Tekton, Linux Shell scripting, Agile development, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ReactJS
Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate
Capacity to work across several development streams
Results-oriented with excellent attention to detail
A background in financial markets, clearing, or banking is an advantage
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
