Germany – Karlsruhe / Analytical Instruments Group - Materials & Structural Analysis Division
We are currently hiring for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our team responsible for the Material Characterization (MC) products in Karlsruhe. We are seeking for a Senior Software Engineer, with proven software development experience to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing software products for rheometer and extruder products.

A day in the Life:

Participate in requirements analysis
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
Write clean, scalable code using C# .NET
Development of challenging mathematic algorithms and graphical data presentation
Test and deploy applications and systems
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Improve existing application software
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle

Keys to Success:

Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline

Experience

Multiple years proven experience in a Windows software development environment
Several years experience with developing desktop applications (both front end and back end) using C# and .NET
Client and server-side applications
Experience in test-driven development and related practices
Experience with C++, Visual Studio, and SQL server/database to maintain and enhance the existing software platform
Experience with IIS Manager and Web server application including safety architecture (SSL protocol)
You have a C1 level in German and a very good command of written and spoken English

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Analytical and problem solving
Software Development Lifecycle experience
Windows-based application software development experience
In-depth knowledge of Windows internals
