We are seeking a talented and motivated Front end engineer with a strong focus on Web Design / Styling to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs using component frameworks like Angular.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement the visual elements of web projects
Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts
Develop and maintain style guides and design systems
Use preprocessors and CSS architecture to maintain reusable CSS
Ensure that designs are in line with brand guidelines and meet accessibility standards
Build high-quality and reusable UI components
Stay informed of emerging tools and technologies and engage in ongoing professional development activities.
5+ years of experience in web design and development
Very strong focus on Angular or Component libraries / frameworks
Experience with Angular Material and Material Design
Strong portfolio showcasing your design and development skills
Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript
Strong skills in CSS preprocessors such as SASS, SCSS or LESS
Knowledge of ITCSS or another similar design architecture and experience implementing it in a project
Strong skills in UX design principles
Strong skills in progressive enhancement and responsive web development
Experience implementing Section 508 and ADA compliancy standards, as well as related accessibility considerations.
Experience with Storybook or similar tooling to build, test, and document UI components
Knowledge of Cypress or other browser-based testing tools
Knowledge of Jest, Karma, Jasmine and other unit testing tools
Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development
Strong understanding of Git and GitFlow, including experience with branch management and conflict resolution
Knowledge of package management systems such as NPM
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
The gross minimum salary according to the collective agreement based on the Austrian law for this position is 2.854,- Euro. This includes full health insurance, occupational accident insurance, public pension scheme, and public unemployment insurance. Depending on your professional qualifications and previous experience, your salary could be significantly higher.
