The Competence Center Crypto and Security (CCC&S) , which is part of our Chief Technology Office department, is expanding their team. We’re situated at different locations around the world and support the business with Security Innovation, Research and Expert Knowledge, Product Security Architecture & Development, Vulnerability Analysis and Product Certifications .
In this exciting role, you will be working in the System & Software Security Architecture team , covering Secure elements, Automotive, Industrial and Internet of Things Security products, supporting the definition and the design of the Software security architecture for a wide range of products and software’s, including Crypto Libraries, JCOP, Mifare, Firmware, Secure Boot, Trusted Provisioning.

As JCOP (Java Card Open Platform) Software Security Architect you will be part of the CCC&S Software Security Architecture team. This position can be filled in Gratkorn/Graz, Eindhoven, Delft, Hamburg, Toulouse, Noida or Bangalore.
Your Responsibilities
Specification / Design / Review of software security architectures and implementations (JCOP, Crypto Library, Firmware)
Risk and threat analysis of security systems
Root cause analysis of security defects and creation of counter measures
Technical interface to customers, evaluation labs and product development teams
Stay up to date with security research & attacks
Creation of innovative security solutions
Your Profile
Have a PhD/Master in Cryptography, Security, Software Engineering, Mathematics
Very good experience in embedded software development, using Java Card, C and assembly
Very good knowledge of Smartcard/Secure Element products and Embedded Secure Systems, security evaluations ( CC EAL6+ , EMVCo ) is a plus
Have a strong security background
Independent working style
Strong Background in Cryptography
Very good communication skills
Strong team player
