Develop secure, reusable and tested backend applications (e.g. JSON:API web services) using JavaScript based on  NodeJS
Implement unit- and functional tests for developed software components
Take part in code review sessions or perform pair programming
Evaluate, implement and manage a scalable hosting infrastructure based on AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure using pipelines
Work in an agile SDLC  SCRUM team and participate in coordination rituals like pre-plannings, sprint plannings, dailies or retrospectives

Unsere Erwartungen an dich:
Qualifikationen
API design and development experience in Node.js/Express ( Javascript (ES6+), TypeScript optional)
In depth understanding of DevOps practices and technologies like Docker with focus on AWS, Infrastructure as Code  (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI)
Experience with related AWS services like  Fargate, CloudWatch, SQS, CloudFront, …
Knowledge in implementing authentication and authorization workflows like  OIDC/OAuth as well as complex Identity & Access Management systems
Experience in developing microservices
Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL , Atlas, Elasticsearch , Big Query, Redis)
Paranoid on Security: you go beyond the OWASP Top-10 but also understand concepts to not let security penalize performance
Experience with modern web frameworks (for example we use Express and React in our team, but to us it is important that you understand framework principles, including abstraction layers and not re-inventing the wheel. Other frontend and backend frameworks similarly count as experience.)
