As Senior Staff Specialist IT Security, you work with a wide range of applications, starting from in house developed tools to commercial applications, within a global acting team.

In your new role you will:

Be part of the global application support team with focus on operational topics for the operational technology platform
Work with the global development and platform teams to ensure the reliability, availability and security of the supported applications and support Infineon Business to make use of them
Provide best effort support to the business equipment on using the standard IT services
Understand the requirements from the regional business teams and strategise global solutions and implementation
Ensure issues raised by the business teams are well documented, provide solutions and follow up o n them to closure
During an individual training phase we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development , we want to ensure your success in this position. The tasks can partly be done in homeoffice .
As a team player, you work closely with the global technical experts to provide and support the solutions efficiently to the local and regional business teams. In addition, you act proactively, adhere to quality standards, and have a quick grasp of concepts

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A degree (Master) in the field of IT or any relevant IT fields
Experience with supporting applications like AntiVirus or Backup-Solutions for Endpoints
Already worked with Windows and Linux operation systems , experience with old operating-systems are beneficial
Experience in customer support roles
Consumer orientation and you enjoy working with people
Have good spoken and written English language skills
This position is subject to the EEI Workers' and Employees' Collective Agreement, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). The agreed monthly salary is paid 14 x p.a.. Willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and suitability. Infineon also offers additional attractive social benefits.
