The Opportunity
Currently, we are looking for an Java Developer Backend to join our international IIOT team.
You would be working on common Remote Service Platform (cRSP) - a state of the art IoT platform for medium to large scale industrial applications. Key use cases are Remote Servicing, Monitoring and File Transfer. Our platform is used by various big industrial customers to manage, audit and maintain their devices in field in a simple and secure way. The cRSP team is responsible for the development and operation of the platform and is located at the sites Konstanz (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic) and Vienna (Austria). For the extension of development team we are looking for a highly motivated person responsible for the development and maintenance of Java backend modules. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve quality, reduce costs, build excellent solutions, and grow customer happiness. We have many hardworking and dedicated peers, committed to continuous improvement that would love for you to work with them.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Development and operation of software components from Java Backend applications
Write well tested, well documented code
Ensure/monitor software quality and perform code reviews
Apply secure coding principles
What We Are Looking For
Higher education in IT field;
Advanced programming skills in Java
Experience with Linux environment
Solid understanding of network layers, networking protocols (especially HTTP), client server applications and REST interfaces
Familiarity with tools like: Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube
Team spirit and willingness to work in international, agile teams
